Welcome

Welcome to our bed and breakfast in a classic 18th century Georgian house. The house is set in an elevated position, five hundred yards from the road, on the edge of the village of Great Bealings, and surrounded by its own parkland with agricultural land beyond.

Accommodation

Three double bedrooms, one of which has self-catering facilities for one couple. Each of the three elegant bedrooms has its own bathroom, heating arrangements and television. This accomodation is usually available throughout the year.

There is ample parking on the gravel area in front of the house. Prices are per room per night, and include a large delicious full English breakfast. A morning tea tray and a television are also provided.

No smoking allowed in the house. If you wish to bring a pet, please enquire as the owners have two dogs.

Things to do

Bealings House offers a wonderful base for a relaxed weekend, and is perfectly suited to birdwatching, cycling, golf, sailing and antique hunting. Beautiful walks begin on the doorstep. Close to Suffolk's Heritage Coast and the popular towns of Aldeburgh, Framlingham, Orford, Snape - with the Maltings Concert Hall, musical school and shopping complex.

It is nearby to excellent pubs and sea food restaurants, and two miles from the charming riverside market town of Woodbridge on the river Deben. On the opposite bank of the river Deben is the world famous Sutton Hoo burial site where Britain's richest Anglo-Saxon treasures were discovered in 1939.
